Introduction

After you’ve defined a problem statement that matters, building an analysis roadmap helps you stay efficient with your time. An analysis roadmap consists of two key elements: (1) an issue tree and (2) a ghost deck.

An issue tree that comprises of set of exhaustive hypotheses that help break down a problem statement into its component parts. Once you’ve built out an effective issue tree and planned your analyses, your ready to move onto building a ghost deck. A ghost deck is a skeleton deck that includes an executive summary template, an overview of your analyses, “blank” analyses, and recommendation/next step template.
